On the morning of March 12th, Hi-tech Spring held an emergency drill against fire caused by hazardous chemical leakage according to the Company’s Emergency Drill Plan 2020, while fully learning the lessons from chemical industry accidents during the outbreak of COVID-19. The Company’s managers at various levels and emergency response team members all participated in the emergency drill, with the Company’s fire brigade as rescue support. We also invited the director of Emergency Administration Bureau of Shengli Industry Park for instruction on site. The emergency takes the scenario that fire happened to unit reactor R101 due to material leakage, with the purpose to check the Company’s emergency response capacity and its cooperation with other rescue aids. After the emergency drill, a drill retrospective was made on site to reproduce the drill process, and observers fed back on the problems in the drill. YAN Zengwei, Production Director of the Company, commented the drill process. Finally, the manager put forward requirements on the correction of problems found in the drill and also stressed that more drills should be conducted for the daily emergency response plan to enhance the emergency control capacity through practice.
